The bill establishes a pilot program allowing certain clients with developmental disabilities in community settings to access dental services at the Rainier school. The pilot program is managed by the Department of Social and Health Services. The Rainier school will cease new long-term admissions by July 27, 2025, and all admissions by June 30, 2027. Former residents can return once if they move to a community-based setting after July 27, 2025, and within the first year of their move.
