The bill creates the commercial liftoff for energy from advanced nuclear advisory commission to accelerate and coordinate nuclear energy deployment in Washington. The commission will develop recommendations on workforce needs, siting and building additional nuclear facilities, and review federal energy pathways. The commission will submit recommendations to the governor and legislature every two years. Members include representatives from Washington State University, the University of Washington, the governor's office, and other relevant entities.
