The bill modifies the composition of the Washington state pharmacy quality assurance commission. It reduces the total membership from fifteen to thirteen. Nine members are designated as pharmacist members, four as public members, and one as a pharmacy technician. Pharmacist members must be residents of Washington and have been registered pharmacists for at least five years. Public members must also be residents and cannot be affiliated with any aspect of pharmacy. Members serve four-year staggered terms and cannot serve more than two terms.
