The bill establishes the Commonwealth Flood Prevention Match Assistance Fund and Program to support local governments with grants for storm and flood risk management projects. The Fund will receive moneys that shall not revert to the general fund but remain in the Fund. Grants awarded will be used to finance the cost share required of a local government. The Director must submit an annual report to the Governor and relevant committee chairs, detailing the number of grants awarded, projects supported, and an executive summary of such projects.
