Virginia SB258 amends the Virginia Human Rights Act to include protections for individuals with known limitations related to pregnancy, menopause, perimenopause, childbirth, or related medical conditions. The bill prohibits employers from refusing to make reasonable accommodations for these conditions unless doing so would impose an undue hardship. It also prohibits employers from taking adverse actions against employees who request or use reasonable accommodations.
