Virginia HB95 amends the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act to modify landlord remedies for tenant noncompliance with rental agreements. The bill specifies that landlords can terminate rental agreements for nonpayment of rent within five days of notice, and for other breaches of the rental agreement or health and safety violations. It also allows landlords to offer tenants a payment plan for unpaid rent.
