The bill establishes a comprehensive outreach program to inform military service members, veterans, Virginia National Guard members, and residents about federal, state, and local benefits and services. The Department, in collaboration with relevant agencies, localities, and service providers, will develop this program. The outcomes of the outreach initiatives will be included in the annual report submitted to the Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs, the Governor, and the General Assembly.
