The General Assembly congratulates Liliane Gordon of Hinesburg on her receipt of the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor for a Girl Scout in grades 9-12. Her successful qualifying project, "Get Active!", was motivated by the increase in young Vermonters' obesity, screen time, and mental health issues due to COVID-19. She devoted over 120 hours to coaching track for youngsters, providing a resource list for parents, and creating a video with testimonials on the benefits of sports participation.
