Establishes a commission to review and recommend compensation and benefits for Vermont General Assembly members.

This bill creates the Legislative Compensation Commission to study and set compensation and expense reimbursement for members of the Vermont General Assembly. The Commission will consider issues such as current salaries, benefits, staffing, administrative support, and the length of the legislative session. The Commission will make recommendations on these matters, which will take effect unless rejected by the General Assembly. The bill also proposes to make members of the General Assembly eligible to participate in the State employees' health benefit plan.
