Vermont S0032 allows Vermont residents with developmental disabilities, paraplegia, or severe physical mobility disabilities to receive free permanent fishing licenses. This includes individuals certified by a physician and those participating in Special Olympics fishing tournaments. Additionally, veterans with service-connected disabilities and legally blind residents can also obtain free licenses. The act takes effect on July 1, 2025.
