The Whitmans, lifelong residents of Shaftsbury, have significantly contributed to their community through various initiatives and leadership roles. They owned Whitman’s Feed Store, which introduced advanced agricultural practices and provided employment. They also supported local farmers, donated to animal rescue organizations, and organized community events.
