The Vermont General Assembly recognizes Malik Hines, the director of operations at the Boys and Girls Club of Rutland County, for being named a 2026 Next Generation of Afterschool Leader by the National Afterschool Association. This recognition honors young professionals under 30 who impact the out-of-school time field. Hines was selected from over 140 nominees and was honored at the association's annual convention in Washington, DC. The resolution directs the Secretary of State to send a copy to Hines and the Boys and Girls Club of Rutland County.
