Exempts ambulatory surgical centers from Vermont's certificate of need requirements.

This bill proposes to exempt ambulatory surgical centers from Vermont’s certificate of need requirements. It amends 18 V.S.A. Section 9435 to exclude ambulatory surgical centers that are licensed or proposed to be established and licensed under chapter 49. The act will take effect upon passage, allowing applicants to withdraw any pending certificate of need applications in accordance with Board rules.
