Vermont H0587 amends the law to ensure that members of boards, commissions, councils, and committees receive per diem compensation of at least $50.00 per day or the most current Vermont livable wage per hour, whichever is greater. This applies to all management, policymaking, or advisory bodies, including temporary study commissions, within the Executive Branch. The Governor can authorize per diem compensation and expense reimbursement for entities created by executive order.
