This bill creates a working group to study the need and available resources for requiring the presence of a licensed athletic trainer at all secondary school athletic events and practices. The group will explore how athletic trainers could be shared between districts or supervisory unions in a cost-effective manner. The working group will submit a report with findings and recommendations by December 1, 2025. The act takes effect on July 1, 2025.
