This bill amends Vermont law to prohibit the Secretary of Natural Resources from adopting California's Clean Air Act waiver for setting motor vehicle emission standards. The Secretary is still allowed to establish emission control requirements by rule to prevent, abate, or control air pollution. The bill also repeals the Vermont Low Emission Vehicle and Zero Emission Vehicle Rules. The changes take effect on July 1, 2025.
