Vermont State and Judiciary Employees’ Cost-Savings Incentive Program provides financial incentives for employees who suggest cost-saving measures.
The Vermont State and Judiciary Employees’ Cost-Savings Incentive Program offers financial incentives to State employees who propose cost-saving measures that are adopted and implemented. Eligible employees receive a monetary award equal to 25% of the savings realized in the first year of implementation, up to a maximum of $25,000. The award is not included in retirement allowance calculations. If an employee terminates before full implementation, they still receive the award. The State Auditor or Court Administrator reviews and may adjust the award amount.
