Born on December 5, 1966, Jon was the son of Jimmy and Jean Rowe and grew up with four older brothers. He graduated from Gladewater High School in 1985 and later from Texas A&M University in 1989, remaining a proud Aggie throughout his life. Jon worked for Eastman Chemical Company for nearly 35 years and was a dedicated community member, serving as president of the Kilgore College Board of Trustees and as a trustee for the Gladewater Independent School District.
