Texas Senate Resolution 625 congratulates the McLennan Community College Dance Team for winning two National Dance Alliance championships in 2025.

The Texas Senate passed Resolution 625 to recognize the McLennan Community College Dance Team for their outstanding performance in winning the Team Performance Junior College Championship and the Jazz Junior College Championship at the 2025 National Dance Alliance event in Daytona. The team, under the guidance of head coach Ashlee Keyes and assistant coach Emma Howard, has now won 14 championship titles since the program's inception in 1976. The resolution also acknowledges the support from the college's athletic director, Shawn Trochim, and its president, Dr. Johnette McKown.
