Dr. Hines, a highly regarded faculty member at Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Austin medical schools, serves on the boards of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, AIDS Services of Austin, and Baylor Scott and White Health Austin/Round Rock Region. He is also the executive director and chief medical officer for University Health Services at The University of Texas at Austin. The resolution expresses esteem from the Texas Senate and wishes him well for the future.
