Texas Senate commends Dr. Christine Ramos Camacho for her service as Physician of the Day.

The Texas Senate commends Dr. Christine Ramos Camacho for her participation in the Physician of the Day program. She will serve on April 22 and 24, 2025, joining resident physician Dr. Auguste Ramos and medical student Elliana Yap. Dr. Camacho, a Laredo native, holds master's and medical degrees and is an assistant professor and clinical instructor. She has conducted research on prediabetes, tobacco cessation, health literacy, and COVID-19 provider wellness, earning recognition at conferences and the Third Year Resident of the Year award in 2021.
