The Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature pays tribute to the memory of Kenda Ruth King, a lifelong cowgirl who worked as a cattle truck driver. Born in Jacksonville on October 24, 1964, she was the daughter of Linda and Kenneth King and grew up with her sister, Kelly. After graduating from Bullard High School, she attended Tyler Junior College and The University of Texas at Tyler. The resolution extends heartfelt sympathy to her family, including her parents, sister, nephews, great-niece, and other relatives and friends.
