Texas SB958 amends the Government Code to allow victims of trafficking or prostitution to petition for nondisclosure of their criminal history. This applies to those convicted or on deferred adjudication for offenses committed solely as a victim of trafficking or prostitution. The bill also allows for consolidation of petitions and requires courts to consider previous nondisclosure orders. The Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
