This bill amends the Water Code to exempt drillers or operators of closed-loop geothermal injection wells from certain requirements under the jurisdiction of the Railroad Commission of Texas. Specifically, it excludes these operators from the application of Sections 85.2021 and 91.142 of the Natural Resources Code.
