Texas SB723 amends the Health and Safety Code to make tier two forms that list hazardous chemicals confidential when held by political subdivisions. These forms can only be released to the public if they have been made publicly available by the commission or if the information released only states the name of a class of dangerous goods under the hazard classification system used in the 2024 Emergency Response Guidebook published by the United States Department of Transportation. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
