Texas SB607 amends the Family Code to allow the Department of Family and Protective Services to provide monetary assistance to caregivers with family incomes at or below 300% of the federal poverty level who enter into a parental child safety placement. The department must enter into a caregiver assistance agreement and notify the caregiver of the assistance availability. The act takes effect September 1, 2025.
