Establishes a fee schedule for attorneys ad litem in suits affecting the parent-child relationship filed by a governmental entity.

This bill amends the Family Code to establish a fee schedule for attorneys ad litem in suits affecting the parent-child relationship filed by a governmental entity. It mandates that courts in each county develop and adopt a fee schedule for attorney ad litem compensation, including payments for time spent in court and out of court, and reasonable and necessary expenses. The fee schedule must be submitted to the county commissioners court and must include descriptions of eligible services and expenses, payment rates, and a form for itemizing services and expenses.
