Amends Texas Occupations Code to allow delegation of pharmacist's authority to administer immunizations or vaccines to registered pharmacy.

This bill amends the Texas Occupations Code to allow the Texas State Board of Pharmacy to specify conditions under which a pharmacist may administer medication, including immunizations and vaccinations. The bill also allows the authority to administer immunizations or vaccinations to be delegated to a registered pharmacy technician. The Texas State Board of Pharmacy must adopt rules to implement these changes. The bill takes effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in both houses, otherwise it takes effect September 1, 2025.
