Extends the expiration date of the health care provider participation program by the Harris County Hospital District.

This bill amends the Health and Safety Code to extend the expiration date of the health care provider participation program by the Harris County Hospital District. The authority of the district to administer and operate the program will now expire on December 31, 2027. The bill also specifies that it will take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote from all members elected to each house, otherwise it will take effect on September 1, 2025.
