Texas SB3006 amends the Education Code to allow the governing board of a university system to establish and operate a law school in El Paso County. The law school can offer customary degrees and accept gifts and grants. The governing board can use bonds to finance property acquisitions for the law school, up to $40 million. If the law receives a two-thirds vote in the legislature, the law school can participate in constitutional funding. Only one law school can be established under this act.
