Texas SB2809 modifies the expiration dates for driver's licenses in the state. For applicants who are not citizens, nationals, or legal permanent residents of the United States, or refugees or asylees lawfully admitted into the United States, the expiration date is set as the earlier of the first birthday of the license holder occurring after the 10th anniversary of the date of the application or the expiration date of the applicant's lawful presence in the United States.
