Texas SB2804 amends the Business and Commerce Code to redefine "sexually oriented business." It now includes nightclubs, bars, restaurants, or similar enterprises that offer live nude entertainment or performances for two or more individuals and allow on-premises alcohol consumption. It also includes businesses hosting activities defined as "sexually oriented performances" under the Penal Code. The act imposes a fee and takes effect September 1, 2025.
