Texas SB2773 revises the composition of the port commission for the Port of Corpus Christi Authority in Nueces County. The port commission will now consist of nine port commissioners. Commissioners are appointed by the Commissioners Court of Nueces County, the city council of Corpus Christi, the Commissioners Court of San Patricio County, the city council of Portland, and the city council of Port Aransas. The city councils of Portland and Port Aransas must appoint their commissioners by January 1, 2026.
