Allows owners to treat manufactured homes as real property under certain conditions.
This bill amends the Occupations Code to allow owners of manufactured homes to treat their homes as real property when applying for a statement of ownership. This option is available if the home is either attached to real property owned by the owner, attached to land leased under a long-term lease, or occupied by the owner as their primary residence. The changes will take effect on September 1, 2025.
