Texas SB2537 amends the Education Code to modify the calculation of a school district's maximum compressed tax rate. If a district's rate is less than 85 [90] percent of another district's rate, it will be adjusted to equal 85 [90] percent of the other district's rate. This change takes effect September 1, 2025.
