Texas SB2413 amends the Property Code to exclude tiny homes and tiny home communities from certain regulations. A "tiny home" is defined as a moveable trailer with a home affixed to a single chassis, not classified as a recreational vehicle, park model trailer, or manufactured home, and not titled as a vehicle. A "tiny home community" is real property rented for the placement of two or more tiny homes, not classified as a recreational vehicle park or manufactured home community, subject to property tax, and metered by a utility company. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
