Texas SB2410 amends the Tax Code to exempt game animals and exotic animals from sales and use taxes. This bill modifies the list of items exempt from these taxes to include game animals, as defined by the Parks and Wildlife Code, and exotic animals, as defined by another section of the Texas Code. The change in law does not affect tax liability accruing before the effective date of this Act. If the bill receives a two-thirds vote in both houses, it takes effect immediately; otherwise, it takes effect September 1, 2025.
