Transfers the University of Houston--Victoria to The Texas A&M University System.

The bill transfers the governance, control, management, and property of the University of Houston--Victoria from the University of Houston System to The Texas A&M University System. The transfer is effective September 1, 2025. The board of regents of The Texas A&M University System will govern, operate, manage, and control the university. All students and employees of the University of Houston--Victoria will become students and employees of Texas A&M University--Victoria. The transfer does not affect the status of any student or employee.
