Waives license renewal fees for certain instructors in high-demand fields at public institutions of higher education.

This bill amends the Occupations Code to waive license renewal fees for faculty members and adjunct professors teaching in high-demand fields at public institutions of higher education. The waiver applies to licenses for registered nurses, pharmacists, medical radiologic technologists, respiratory care practitioners, engineers, plumbers, air conditioning and refrigeration contractors, electricians, educators, and bilingual education or special language program teachers. The waiver takes effect September 1, 2025.
