The board will now consist of five members from the State Board of Education, the commissioner of the General Land Office, one appointee of the commissioner with investment expertise, two appointees of the governor with investment expertise who cannot be members of the State Board of Education or the School Land Board, one appointee of the lieutenant governor with investment expertise, and one appointee of the speaker of the house with investment expertise.
