This bill amends the Insurance Code to expand the definition of "generally recognized services" for autism spectrum disorder. It includes evaluation and assessment services, applied behavior analysis, behavior training and management, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental relationship-based intervention, and medications or nutritional supplements. These changes apply to health benefit plans delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed on or after January 1, 2026.
