Texas SB1662 amends the Health and Safety Code to allow the commission to notify public drinking water systems that obtain their water supply from underground sources no more than 24 hours in advance of water quality testing. This notice is intended to investigate complaints related to the water quality of the public drinking water supply system. The act takes effect on September 1, 2025.
