This bill amends the Texas Tax Code to exempt the sale, storage, use, or other consumption of firearms, ammunition, firearm accessories, and firearm safety equipment from sales and use taxes. The exemption takes effect September 1, 2025, and does not affect tax liabilities accruing before that date.
