Texas SB1485 amends Section 623.219(a) of the Transportation Code to specify the most direct routes for permits issued by port authorities in counties bordering the United Mexican States. These routes include access to the Port of Brownsville from various international bridges and the Free Trade International Bridge, as well as access to the Port of Harlingen and the Harlingen Industrial Park. The bill takes effect September 1, 2025.
