Texas SB1450 amends the Local Government Code to allow third-party review of development documents if a regulatory authority does not approve, conditionally approve, or disapprove the document within 15 days. The review can be done by someone employed by the regulatory authority, another political subdivision, or a licensed engineer. Similarly, if a required development inspection is not conducted within 15 days, it can be performed by a certified inspector, an inspector employed by the regulatory authority or another political subdivision, or a licensed engineer.
