Texas SB1387 amends the Texas Water Code to change the composition of the Texas Groundwater Protection Committee. The committee will now include a representative selected by the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts and a representative of the Water Well Drillers and Water Well Pump Installers Program of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The changes will take effect on September 1, 2025.
