Allows political subdivisions to provide credits against water and wastewater fees for water conservation and reuse projects.

This bill amends the Local Government Code to allow political subdivisions to provide credits against water and wastewater impact fees for certain water conservation and reuse projects. Eligible facilities, systems, or products include those that reduce water consumption, decrease wastewater needs, diminish stormwater demands, or integrate advanced water efficiency technologies. Political subdivisions must establish procedures for calculating and reviewing these credits. The changes take effect September 1, 2025.
