Texas SB1013 modifies the definition of a crosswalk in the Transportation Code. It specifies that a crosswalk includes the portion of a roadway at an intersection within the connections of the lateral lines of the sidewalks on opposite sides of the highway. It also includes the portion of a driveway that is within the connections of the lateral lines of the sidewalks on opposite sides of the driveway where sidewalks run parallel to a roadway and are interrupted by a driveway.
