The resolution recognizes April 29, 2025, as Prison Entrepreneurship Program Day at the State Capitol. The Prison Entrepreneurship Program, established in 2004, aims to transform the lives of participants through a character development program and an entrepreneurship boot camp. Participants take part in a business plan competition and complete numerous classes. Upon graduation, they are honored in a formal ceremony and awarded a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the Baylor University Hankamer School of Business.
