The Texas House of Representatives recognizes Erica LaHood for her role as La Reina Linda XI for the 2025 Fiesta San Antonio season. La Reina Linda was created in 2013 as the female counterpart to El Rey Feo, one of Fiesta's royalty, to enhance the efforts of the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation. This foundation has awarded over $10 million in scholarships to local graduating seniors planning to attend college or trade school. Erica LaHood, a native of Corpus Christi, has a degree in business from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and cofounded an oil-field chemical solutions company.
